Hey Everyone!
I’m just getting back into the rhythm of posting as I was on vacation last week and part of this week. I went to Atlanta to visit my best friend (my best friend Kristie was the co-author of this blog for 5 years before I switched it over to a nail blog) that was moving back home, we sadly had to make her move early and suddenly as she received terrible news that her nephew who has been ill was having more complications. 6 year old Ethan lost his battle and went to Heaven this week. I will be posting more about his story and a mani inspired by this beautiful soul most likely on Monday after I have attended his Memorial Service. Ethan smiled through all of his health issues and lived his life as if he was not sick so in his honor his family along with myself are determined to never take life for granted and live every day to its fullest potential. So, I will continue doing the things I love and that includes creating beautiful art that makes me happy because he was happy! Fly high Ethan!
I’ve been trying to get all of these manis posted that I did for the China Glaze Desert Escape Collection see my swatches! This mani with ‘Don’t Desert Me’ is a simpler look but I think it has a sexy date night feel to it. Meeeoooowwwww kitty. I don’t know what I was doing when I was photographing this mani because I only took pics of 2 poses lol so this post is a little light on the picture side.
‘Don’t Desert Me’ is a fuchsia or is it purple? I don’t know! What areeeee youuuuu? When I first posted the plain swatch of this on Instagram I got a lot of “I love this purple” comments and I was like oh, I thought this was fuchsia? Haha So in my review I posted here on the blog I mentioned it leaned purple and now I think I see it……… maybe ;) I used 2 coats here and it applied nicely, no complaints. Then I did some stamping with Bundle Monster Black Noir and for the life of me, I cannot remember what plate I used! I did this mani about 3 weeks ago so it’s memory is gone from my brain, it could be a “Y” plate. If someone knows please comment so I can try to find it in my plates. But I do like the pattern! I will have to investigate aka go through my ever growing plate collection that is in desperate need of organizing. Tsk tsk Angel.
Thanks for stopping by!
