What came first?  The holographic purse or the holo polish?

A couple weeks back I got an email from the Coach Outlet showing some new holo leather items that were about to release..... I was like whaaatttttttttt!  Purses are some of my fav things in the whole world so when the nail world combines with purse, I'm there.  They were only launching in the outlet so I ran to get them that weekend.  I'm glad I did because I got some of the last items and they sold out rather quickly.  They were rumored to be eventually available on the online site but so far no luck.  I really hope they show up because I definitely want to pick up some of the other matching items and I want my fellow polish friends to have a crack at them too!

Of course I was inspired to do a matching mani!

When your @coach holo purse matches your holo polish 😂😂😂 I got an email this week from Coach showing this new purse at the outlet and I was like 🏃🏼🚗💳💸💸💸 TAKE ALL MY MONEY!!! Lol It's not as flashy in person but the camera flash really brings out the holo! I got the last purse at my store, so if you want these ya better move quick. Would you guys buy a holo purse?  I'm still obsessing over this purse and it's become my weekend purse.  I plan on using it a lot in the Summer!

Today I have some gorgeous holos to share! This is the “Cocktails Anyone? Round 2” from Glisten & Glow. This is the 2nd release for the Cocktails Collection, Jill plans on having this be a progressive collection that she keeps adding on! This set goes on sale 9/4/15 7pm EST at Glisten & Glow. Are you guys even reading this? I’m sure you’ve already moved on to the swatches so let’s get to it!

But first, who remembers “Cocktails” the movie with Tom Cruise?! The tagline has me dying “When he pours, he reigns” WTF kind of crap is that? Haha oh Hollywood!

August 2015 A Box Indied: Glisten & Glow Veni Vidi Vici

I’m starting out the week with pink holo lol Today I’m reviewing the Glisten & Glow contribution to the August A Box Indied ‘Veni Vidi Vici.’ This box goes on sale July 26th and can be purchased at Llarowe, follow @aboxindied on Instagram for more swatches and updates! Let’s get started.



This beautiful fuchsia pink holo is ‘Veni Vidi Vici.’ This pic was taken in the sun. It has a stronger holo presence in person and there are silver flakes in there but for some reason they only showed up in pics taken in the shade but are visible in person. This applied really easily, I used 2 smooth coats no issues with application and of course topped with 1 coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

Hey Everyone!

Today’s post has a little different twist to it! One of my Instagram ladies Dvi aka @naiidazzlee asked me to take part in a B-day mani collab for Bev of Nailed The Polish aka @nailedthepolish and of course I said yes, love Bev! We were tasked to either recreate one of her manis or do an inspired by mani, so I chose to do both. I copied one of her manis on 2 nails and then went all freestyle for the rest of the mani haha I happened to have the same polishes so it was a good match.

And here are muy fingahs. This is not a color combo I would have put together, the cremes sure, but pairing them with the subtle holo? Never would have done that but I LOVE THIS! They look so great together, really unique.

Hey Everyone!

Today I have a lovely sparkly holo to share with you! It is ‘Clubbin’ Teal Dawn’ and it’s the Glisten & Glow contribution to the July A Box Indied. A Box, Indied is a monthly polish sub box featuring some of the biggest and hottest brands in the Indie polish world. The July A Box, Indied will be available on June 26th, follow @aboxindied for swatches and updates. When Jill sent this to me she had me at teal lol I always love sporting a good teal color. Once I put this baby on it just felt like Summer in a bottle, taking pics in the sun sure helped! I swatched this one the day before I left for vacation so about 2 weeks ago, I raced home from work because the sun was shining and here in Buffalo, NY you don’t know how long you’ll get sunshine. So while you’re looking at these swatches you can imagine me sitting on my concrete driveway in the front of my house in my business casual work outfit. I wonder if my neighbors saw me, and if they did, what were they thinking? Who cares! Swatch on!

See I told you ‘Clubbin’ Teal Dawn’ was pretty! I’d call it a warm teal aqua holo. This pic was taken in the sun, again imagine me sitting in the middle of my driveway taking this pic hehe. It throws beautiful rainbows and would be a great color to wear to the beach. This is 2 smooth and easy to apply coats. Very good formula and of course topped with HK Girl Top Coat.

Today I have swatches for one of the polishes in the upcoming May 2015 A Box, Indied, Saber This! by the one and only Glisten & Glow.  A Box, Indied is a monthly polish sub box featuring some of the biggest and hottest brands in the Indie polish world.  This month's theme is Star Wars!  I love ittttttt, this dork is excited.  I’ve been a big fan of G&G and using their products for about 3 years (G&G HK Girl Top Coat is my HG, there are no other TCs in my world lol) so I was so happy to be able to do some swatches of a new polish.  The May A Box, Indied will be available on April 26^th, follow @aboxindied for swatches and updates.  Let’s get to it babes.
