A Box, Indied – May 2015 Star Wars – Glisten & Glow Saber This!

Happy Friday THANK GOD RIGHT?!

Today I have swatches for one of the polishes in the upcoming May 2015 A Box, Indied, Saber This! by the one and only Glisten & Glow.  A Box, Indied is a monthly polish sub box featuring some of the biggest and hottest brands in the Indie polish world.  This month's theme is Star Wars!  I love ittttttt, this dork is excited.  I’ve been a big fan of G&G and using their products for about 3 years (G&G HK Girl Top Coat is my HG, there are no other TCs in my world lol) so I was so happy to be able to do some swatches of a new polish.  The May A Box, Indied will be available on April 26^th, follow @aboxindied for swatches and updates.  Let’s get to it babes.

Look at this sexy polish!  I don’t even know how to describe it because there is just soooo so much going on here haha  It’s a cerulean blue with a bit of a crelly finish, full of shimmers and pink glass flakes, and IT GLOWS BLUE……. Like a light saber haha clever!  Very easy to apply and fully opaque in 2 coats.  If you’ve ever used a polish with flakes or glass flecks then you know they have what I like to call a “stable” formula, meaning it’s not thin or runny and won’t flood your cuticles.  Sometimes these type polishes can be thick and goopy, but not Saber This!  It has this stable type formula but I wouldn’t call it thick, it’s just not like a crème finish and I think it makes Saber This a very easy to apply user friendly polish, you don’t have to fight with it to get it to look good it just does.  And how about that bright blue glow?!  I don’t have a ton of experience with glow polishes (but I might now because I love the glow thing way more than I thought I would!).  It was just so bright, I didn’t think a polish could glow like that haha And the blue glow was just so fun.  I wore this polish to bed and fell asleep with my nails 2 inches from my eyeballs just staring at muh nails lol I felt like a kid when I put those glow in the dark stars all over my ceiling!  Just such a fun little extra.

Macro time!  You can see the pretty pink glass flecks here.  The pink looks so great against the blue.  I’m really digging this color, it’s gorgeous.

And another pic just because I took them and I’m going to make you look at them haha  See how the light plays off the pink glass flecks?  Of course you do, it’s beautiful.
