Hey Everyone!
Today I have swatches of the Wet N Wild Silver Lake
Collection for Spring 2015. I was so
excited when I saw pics of these and knew I had to buy the entire 6 polish
set. I found them at Rite-aid for 40%
off so I got all of them for less than $8 after tax! What a bargain! The collection consists of 5 cremes and 1
sheer shimmer. Let’s get into swatches!

First up is A Latte Love, a gorgeous creamy beige
neutral. I adore these colors so I knew
this would be a fav for me! Really great
formula, shown using 2 coats and Seche Vite Top Coat. I feel like it dried a little darker than in
the bottle, which was a common theme with this collection. It reminds me of OPI Skulls and Glossbones.
This purple pretty is Reject the Mainstream, I don’t get
this name lol but ok! It’s a soft
lavender crème. This one also had a
really nice formula, shown using 2 coats and Seche Vite Top Coat. I may be a bit biased as it’s really hard for
me to find a purple I don’t love haha especially pale ones like this. This is perfect for Spring and I’d wear it in
the Summer, maybe as a gradient mixed with white. I have many purples like this but I don’t
care, I’ll keep collecting them lol
Next is Wear Skinny Jeans, a periwinkle crème that has a
very pretty subtle silver and pinkish bluish shimmer in the bottle. Sadly after the second coat the shimmer goes
from subtle to wear are you shimmer? You
can detect it ever so slightly if your fingers catch the light of an asteroid
or something lol BUT I still really like this one, the color is pretty and very
Spring-y and a good formula shown using 2 coats and HK Girl Top Coat. Not unique but gorgeous.
Onto Warm Filter.
Please disregard my crazy skin in this pic! I don’t think my photos of this are very
color accurate, this was one of those colors that even though it’s not a neon it’s
bright enough to make my camera freak out lol In person it’s a gorgeous bright
salmon pink with a little orange. Huge
fan of this one! Great formula shown
using 2 coats and HK Girl Top Coat.
Here is the only non-crème in the collection, Stream of Consciousness. It’s a sheer pink with a lot of very fine
silver shimmer. Isn’t this so
classy? This made me feel like a real
lady up in this bitch! My love of these
sheer polishes has grown over the past couple of months, and I think this could
be my new fav! It was so flattering, and
dat shimma! This would make a perfect
wedding mani. Pretty good formula, shown
using 3 coats and Seche Vite Top Coat.
Most people would be happy with 2 coats but I’m a crazy person and even
though I’m digging sheer polishes I still need my nail line to be only slightly
visible lol
Last is Tree Hugger, how do I describe this one? It’s kind of a washed out lime mixed with
mint? Yea let’s go with that. This one probably had the worst formula of
the bunch, not the worst I’ve seen but one of those polishes that manages to be
kinda thick and goopy but patchy at the same time. You know what I mean lol I was still able to get it to cover though,
shown using 2 coats and Seche Vite Top Coat.
Overall, the Wet N Wild Silver Lake Collection grabbed a
hold of my little black heart! My type
of colors and great formulas for a $2 polish and even better when you can catch
a sale! My favs are Warm Filter, A Latte
Love, and surprise fav Stream of Consciousness.
