Hey Everyone!
Guess what? I got even more swatches of the Color Club Poptastic Pastel Neons! As if I didn't post enough lol, you can see my first set of "plain" swatches without nail art and read my review here Color Club Poptastic Pastel Neon Collection Swatch Review - Spring 2015. For these swatches I wanted to focus on stamping since I just got a shit-load of new stamping plates from HeHe and Qgirl. Keep in mind, for all of these swatches I used 1 coat of white (Rica Polish Whiteout) and 2 layers of color topped with HK Girl Top Coat from Glisten & Glow. Ok onto swatches!
Don't you just love a good collage! These colors in this collection just make my eyeballs so happy! Loving the whole collection, I can't pick a fav.
I'll start with my fav stamping I did for this collection! This is 'Diggin' The Dancing Queen.' When I posted this on instagram so many people thought it was really watermarble! Haha! I haven't even tried to watermarble yet so this stamping plate, HeHe 040, is a good substitute. I used Rica Polish Blackout and a couple of 2mm black studs to finish it off.

First up is 'Feathered Hair Out To There.' I knew I wanted to stamp over this with white so I chose a tribal design stamping plate Qgirl 030. I used Rica Polish Whiteout (same as the undie) and it came out so pretty! I thought these looked like Festival Nails.
Next is 'Hot-Hot-Hot Pants.' I copied what I did with 'Feathered Hair Out To There' lol I loved the look so much, so I switched it up with a different stamping plate Qgirl 029. This plate was a little more angular than the other one. Again I used Rica Polish Whiteout. Aren't these so Summery?
Next up is 'Disco's Not Dead.' For this color black seemed perfect, so I stamped with Rica Polish Blackout using HeHe 050 plate. I thought these came out kinda sexy, meow kitty!
This fun highlighter yellow is 'Under The Blacklight,' such a perfect name! Stars just seemed appropriate for this color, I used Julep Harley and stamp plate HeHe 003. The star charm is from ebay.
Next is ''Til The Record Stops.' I love how this one came out! I used Rica Polish Blackout and stamping plate HeHe 053. This plate is a Pi themed stamping plate! I was hoping to get it in in time for actual Pi Day (3/14) but no :( so I'll use it next year.
When I saw this blue 'Meet Me At The Rink' I knew it needed some clouds! I double stamped using Julep Harley and Rica Polish Whiteout.
This whole collection is just so pretty, yes the formula isn't the greatest but layered over a coat of white undies they're fine. Don't forget to check out my first set of swatches here Color Club Poptastic Pastel Neon Collection Swatch Review - Spring 2015.
So what do you think? Are you getting these? How would you wear them?

These names really take me back to my teen years. I feathered with the rest/best of 'em!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done, girlfriend. Hugs, Boo!
Haha! Thank you! The names are so cute :)
DeleteIt make me sad that I am now unable to wear plain polish without art lol! But I have enjoyed the ten or so minutes of plain colour on my nails before I faff with it and I must say that the formula and finish seems no worse than any other pastels I own. Love all the stamping here especially the marble plate which I'm frantically searching for as these babies do not marble well! That's one night of my life I'll never get back !
ReplyDeleteI know! It is now impossible for me to enjoy a plain mani haha! Have you looked for the plate on aliexpress?
