OPI James Bond Collection Casino Royale with Julep Betty

Hi Interneters!

I picked up OPI Casino Royale from the James Bond Skyfall Collection back in the middle of the summer and I have been patiently waiting to bust it out! I LOVE vampy colors and Daniel Craig and the move Skyfall so this is a pretty awesome polish! It’s such a gorgeous cremey vampy red toned plum. I wanted to keep things simple for this mani so I just went with one lonely sparkly accent nail.

Pics now :)

Whoah baby! Look at this polish perfection that is Casino Royale. It applied beautifully and nice and opaque at 2 coats.

On the ring accent nail I layered 2 coats of Julep Betty. It has small fuchsia and cranberry colored glitter, I think it has a black jelly base but hard to tell? Anyways, I love it. Applied great no issues with this glitter. I think these 2 make a pretty great combo.

Just one more view ;)

Bundle Monster Mochi Stamping Station Valentines Day Nail Art

Press Sample, Affiliate Code

Hey Everyone!

A while back I received the Mochi Stamping Station from Bundle Monster to review, and I got to try it out before it was released.  Well, it's available now and I definitely love it!  It's changed up how I stamp, specifically reverse stamping and decals for sure!  AND I have a Bundle Monster discount code, use code TWISTAR for 10% off non-sale items at www.BundleMonster.com.

I have 2 manis to share that I made using this stamper, let's check em out!

Bundle Monster Mochi Stamper China Glaze Bottoms Up

This pink and white gradient was so super easy to stamp all nails with only 1 stamp pick up with the Mochi Stamper!  I don't know why I didn't know about the tip to use a sticky base coat over your base colors prior to stamping and this helps to pick up dry polish.  Seriously, life changing!  Ok, maybe that's a bit dramatic lol Here's what I used for this mani:

-Liquid Latex - Bundle Monster Poli-Peel
-White - China Glaze White on White
-Pink - China Glaze Bottoms Up
-Sticky base coat - American Classic Yellow Stopper
-Fuchsia stamping - China Glaze Don't Desert Me
-Stamp Plate - Bundle Monster BMS-221
-Stamper - Bundle Monster Mochi Stamping Station
-Top coat - HK Girl Top Coat Glisten & Glow

Bundle Monster MAC Past Curfew Mochi Stamper Reverse Stamping

This second mani shows how I did some reverse stamping using the Mochi Stamper.  OMG!  Again with the life changing lol I seriously suck at applying decals and this is basically like a decal!  Here's what I used for this mani:

-Liquid Latex - Bundle Monster Poli-Peel
-Berry - MAC Cosmetics Past Curfew
-Pink shimmer - Julep Aphrodite
-Sticky base coat - American Classic Yellow Stopper
-White - Bundle Monster Angelic White
-Stamp Plate - Bundle Monster BMS-224 & MBS-225
-Stamper - Bundle Monster Mochi Stamping Station
-Top coat - HK Girl Top Coat Glisten & Glow

Are you going to check out the Bundle Monster Mochi Stamping Station?

Something Blue wedding mani featuring James Allen Ring nail charms

This post contains affiliate links and Press Samples

Hey Everyone!

Today I have my next mani featuring the James Allen Rings nail charms that I received as part of the Preen.Me Preen Me VIP program! Since I’m a weirdo along with my manis I wrote a little fanfiction story of me and a-hem, Damon Salvatore from Vampire Diaries. What? I couldn’t resist! Want to read the first 2 chapters of my story and see the first mani? Check it out Rose Water Decals Wedding Mani Featuring James Allen Rings Nail Charms. Ok let’s get on with the pics.

Something Blue wedding mani featuring James Allen Ring nail charms

For the “wedding mani” of my 3 part series, I wanted to go non-traditional because well, I’m a non-traditional kind of girl hehehe. I went with a nude and “something blue” look and actually that’s the name of the blue polish! It’s ‘Something Blue’ from Julep.

More Color Club Poptastic Pastel Neon swatches! This time with nail art!

(These polishes were purchased by me)

Hey Everyone!

Guess what?  I got even more swatches of the Color Club Poptastic Pastel Neons!  As if I didn't post enough lol, you can see my first set of "plain" swatches without nail art and read my review here Color Club Poptastic Pastel Neon Collection Swatch Review - Spring 2015.  For these swatches I wanted to focus on stamping since I just got a shit-load of new stamping plates from HeHe and Qgirl.  Keep in mind, for all of these swatches I used 1 coat of white (Rica Polish Whiteout) and 2 layers of color topped with HK Girl Top Coat from Glisten & Glow.  Ok onto swatches!

Color Clube Poptastic Pastel Neon Swatches stamping nail art

Don't you just love a good collage!  These colors in this collection just make my eyeballs so happy!  Loving the whole collection, I can't pick a fav.

Color Clube Poptastic Pastel Neon Swatches Diggin The Dancing Queen

Color Clube Poptastic Pastel Neon Swatches Diggin The Dancing Queen

I'll start with my fav stamping I did for this collection!  This is 'Diggin' The Dancing Queen.'  When I posted this on instagram so many people thought it was really watermarble!  Haha!  I haven't even tried to watermarble yet so this stamping plate, HeHe 040, is a good substitute.  I used Rica Polish Blackout and a couple of 2mm black studs to finish it off.

ScentBird Perfume Subscription Review - and Balenciaga Florabotanica Bottle inspired nail art!

ScentBird Review Balenciaga Florabotanica Inspired nail art China Glaze White on White Twinkled T nail vinyls

ScentBird Review Balenciaga Florabotanica Inspired nail art
Hi Everyone!

Today I have something to share a little different than my usual nail posts (but I did incorporate a mani of course lol).  Something else that I truly love is perfumes!  I am one that my mood is very much influenced by scent and vice versa.  I have a medium sized perfume collection ranging from the inexpensive scented oil to pricey scents from Tom Ford.  Unlike polish, I have a hard time buying more new full-sized bottle of perfume because what’s the point when I already have many and I always like to switch it up?  And I seem to have pretty expensive perfume taste right now haha!  So lately, I’ve been indulging my want for new scents by getting lots of sample vials with beauty purchases and even buying mixed lots of them on ebay.  What’s a girl to do when you always want a new scent to try out!  When I was contacted by ScentBird to sample an intro box to their perfume sub box, I was like hells yeah I want to try it lol  Here are some quick details before I get into my review of my experience.

ScentBird Logo
Scentbird is the modern woman’s way to smell amazing but spend smart. Just $14.95 a month gets you a 30-day supply of the luxury perfume of your choice right to your door. Choose from 350+ top Designer scents.  The perfume you select comes in a sleek purse spray that's fun to show off and easy to carry. Every month you just swap out the old scent and swap in the new.

Scentbird was born out of the frustration with the “perfume graveyard”-  all those scents you once loved but got tired of wearing, all those scents you got as presents and never really loved, all gathering dust on your dresser.  “60% of women who wear perfume switch between multiple fragrances.  In fact, the #1 reason women buy perfume is to get something new or different,” says Mariya Nurislamova, Scentbird’s CEO.  “Sticking to one scent feels stifling and outdated. However, perfume bottles are
expensive, impractical for travel and last forever.”  Source: ScentBird

Tweed nail art - Bundle Monster stamp plate BM-706

Hey People!

Today I have a double layer stamping mani to share, whoah I know.  I’m getting all crazy lol  Not really, I just stamped on each nail twice.  I used another Secret Garden Bundle Monster plate, BM-706 see my full review HERE!  The pattern I used from the plate is a sort of cross-hatch pattern, it reminded me of tweed lol  Check out my mani!

Isn’t this stamp pattern so cool?  The plate BM-706 stamped perfect and crisp.  The blue is Annie from Julep, and the white base is also Julep, Brigitte and it covers nicely in 2 coats.

Bliss Kiss Simply Smooth Negative Space nail art - Mani Swap!

Hey Everyone!

Today I have my first maniswap to share!  Reyna, Instagram @reynasnailart asked me to do one and I jumped at the chance.  She wanted to recreate my Floss Gloss basket weave mani, see my original HERE.  She posted a super cute negative space striping tape mani that I recreated.  Check out our collage!

Maniswap Floss Gloss Wet and Glowstar basket weave mani

Aren’t we so cute lol Thanks to Reyna for letting me use the collage she made.  The originals are on top and recreations on the bottom.

Bliss Kiss Simply Smooth base coat negative space nail art
Here is a solo-shot of my recreation.  I used Bliss Kiss Simply Smooth base coat, since it has a really nice sheer light pink color it makes my nail beds “My Nails but better” haha!  It evens out their tone and covers up the slight nail staining I always seem to have.

Born Pretty Store Review - Virgin Mary decals with OPI LAMB

Hi Guys!

Today I have the last of the 3 products I was sent for review from Born Pretty Store,
Virgin Mary water slide decals item #17030. When Born Pretty contacted me to select some products this was the first one I picked! I thought they were so different and cool and I have nothing like them. Check out what I came up with.

I’m calling this look Renaissance Scrapbook lol For the base I used OPI LAMB and then outlined each nail with Julep Fiore.

Here are the
decalsbefore I chopped them up lol I like that some of the images have 2 sizes so you can select the perfect fit for your nail size.

The
Virgin Mary water slide decals item #17030applied just like any other water slide decal, submerge in water for 20 seconds and then they slide off the paper backing and you can position onto the nail. Some of the bigger images you need to position carefully and work out the air bubbles so that they lay flat, but same goes for any water decals.

On the ring finger I added some jewels into the shape of the cross.

These decals are weird enough to not be everyone’s cup-o-tea but I love them! I have a thing for old paintings so they’re right up my alley. You can buy the Virgin Mary decals
HERE, I recommend them! Would you wear these decals?

(Some of these products were provided to me for review)

Julep Phyllis Aurora Sadie nail tape X nail art

Hey Everyone!

Happy Friday thankkkkk goodness, uggghhh busy week for me. Any whoo, I received my Julep January Maven box a while back and still have a lot of them left to try haha. Typical. Phyllis, a soft dusty pink caught my eye. I thought it would be fun to pair it with black, check out what I came up with.

Isn't Julep Phyllis pretty?! I was excited because it had a nice formula and I've been not so happy lately with their cremes so I'm hoping they're on the up and up. This is 2 coats.

The silver is Julep Aurora, it was pretty brush strokey, not the worst I've seen lol but enough to annoy me. But it did cover nicely, this is 2 coats.

The X pattern I did with striping tape. I sadly messed it up while removing the tape lol I used Julep Sadie, a black with silver glitter texture polish. Love Sadie!

Even though I messed up the accent nail, I was still happy with this mani I thought the color combo was pretty cool. It was inspired by @melcisme on Instagram. Thanks for stopping by!

Polish My Life White Ice and Fun Lacquer Pay Day

Hellooooooo!

I've always wanted little cross charms so spoiler alert I bought some lol I thought they would look cute with a black and gray mani. Another spoiler alert! They did, check it out.

The whiteish gray polish is White Ice from Polish My Life, in person it has subtle silver shimmer and glitters. Super pretty, and will go with everything. Nice formula.

For the ring accent, I layered 1 coat of silver and holo flakey Pay Day (H) from Fun Lacquer over Julep Janae. It's like mirrors or a disco ball! So shiny.

Thanks for stopping by!

Julep - Peace Love and Sienna

Hey Everyone!

Today I have a work function to go to so I wanted something "classy" lol Although I'm sure this look doesn't qualify as classy to some but for me it's more subdued. Check it out!

The merlot creme is Julep Peace. It's a very pretty color but the formula wanted to flood my cuticles and cleanup was a little tough since reds tend to do that but I was happy with the end result so not too big a deal.

For the ring and pinky I used Julep Sienna as my base and layered Julep Love over. I love Love! Haha!

I've never doubled up square studs like this before, I think it's a pretty cool look.

Thanks for stopping by!
