Born Pretty Store Review - Eifel Tower Nail Charm Item #16963

Hey Everyone!

Today I have a really cute Eifel Tower nail charm Item #16963 (color SH552) to review from Born Pretty Store! In case you haven’t noticed, I love nail charms hahaha It’s a little bigger and my nails are a little shorter at the moment so I place it on my thumb nail, check out my mani!

Born Pretty Store Eifel Tower Nail Charm Item #16963

The Eifel Tower Nail Charm is all blinged out and fancy, it is so cute!  I just adore it.  It is slightly curved so it has more surface area to stick to your nail.  Since I have a pretty strong C-curve to my nails I always appreciate charms that aren’t flat as they stick better.  I just slapped this one on after a nice coat of top coat and so far it’s staying on perfectly!

Vampy nails! Using Polish My Life Pom Pom Life and Love Angeline Twinkle in My Eye

What's happening?!

It's still Winter and I've been doing bright manis so I went with something "season appropriate" whatever that means. *eye roll*  Polish My Life Pom Pom Spice, a deep vampy burgundy creme seemed perfect and here it is!

Pom Pom Spice is one of those vampy colors that's not quite red or brown it just is.  First coat was kind of crappy but the second coat went on great and covered to full opacity.

St Patrick's Day green and gold nail art!

Happy March Everyone!

They say in like a lion out like a lamb and I have never hoped for this to be true more than this year!  I’ve had enough cold and snow this winter to last me a lifetime, arrrggghhhhh!  At least I can cheer myself up with some St. Patrick’s Day nail art.  I busted out some gold nail vinyls that were sent to me for review from Vinyl It Up.  Check out what I came up with.

Love Angeline Green Holo Polish My Life Green Bikini St Patricks Day mani

This subtle holo grass green is from Love Angeline.  I don’t know this colors name because I received it in a mystery grab bag, so it was unlabeled.  But anyways, it does have a very nice formula and covered perfectly in 2 easy coats.

Polish My Life White Ice and Fun Lacquer Pay Day

Hellooooooo!

I've always wanted little cross charms so spoiler alert I bought some lol I thought they would look cute with a black and gray mani. Another spoiler alert! They did, check it out.

The whiteish gray polish is White Ice from Polish My Life, in person it has subtle silver shimmer and glitters. Super pretty, and will go with everything. Nice formula.

For the ring accent, I layered 1 coat of silver and holo flakey Pay Day (H) from Fun Lacquer over Julep Janae. It's like mirrors or a disco ball! So shiny.

Thanks for stopping by!

Polish My Life Green Bikini and OPI In True Stefani Fashion

Hey People!

Some of my favorite polishes tend to be bleached out neons and bright cremes. I was lusting after Polish My Life Bikini Green for a while and it has definitely lived up to my expectations. Let's take a look!

So bright, so perfect :) Polish My Life Green Bikini applied nicely but I did use 3 coats to cover nail line, I think many people could get away with 2 coats but my nail line tends to be very dark and show through most polishes.

OPI a In True Stefani Fashion was a perfect match with Green Bikini! I love how the silver really pops off the green.

Some rainbow 2mm nail jewels were the perfect way to finish off this mani.

I'm thinking this color will get a lot of use for me come Spring for Easter manis and will look awesome with some stamping over it. Thanks for visiting!

Bonita Colors Starry Night Polish My Life It's A Little Nippy and Julep Donna

Hi People!

Today I have some nude and teal nail stamping to share with the most gorgeous Bonita color! I'm in loveeee with this shimmery teal, Starry Night.  Starry Night has such depth and a very rich feel to it.  I was really pleased with it's formula and how easily it applied, one of those colors that just sort of paints itself on.  Let's take a look!

Bonita Colors Starry Night MoYou London Sailer Plate 04

Bonita Colors Starry Night polish swatch teal shimmer

This is Bonita Colors Starry Night. Isn't is gorgeous? It had a wonderful formula and the silvery shimmers just make it glow. This is one of those dark colors that doesn't look black, you can always tell it's teal.  I always find it disappointing when a dark color only looks "that color" under certain lighting, but this one did not disappoint.  I used 2 smooth coats here, but it was very close to being a one-coater!  Not bad for a $2.49 polish.

Polish My Life It's a Little Nippy

How about a perfect creamy nude to go with Starry Night? This is It's A Little Nippy from Polish My Life and it has a great formula, this is 2 coats.  It has a little bit of a pink fleshy tone to it which I found very flattering on my fair olive complexion.  It keeps it interesting and dare I say sexy?  Love it.

Bonita Colors Starry Night MoYou London Sailer Plate 04

For the stamping I used Julep Donna, a teal creme. The stamping plate is MoYou London Sailor Collection Plate 04. I think I was really fast with my stamping, almost too fast!  LOL So the polish was very wet on the stamper when I rolled it across the nails and it sort of smeared.  I was annoyed at first but then realized it gave the swirls a gradient type look, almost like I painted them by hand!  I love when an accident turns into something beautiful.

This mani is one I'd wear year-round, nude is always appropriate and I feel like the teal somehow in all it's shimmery glory haha is a neutral.  Thanks for stopping by!

Polish My Life Commando and OPI LAMB and Pure 18kt gold top coat

Hey my polish Friends!

I wanted to wear a black mani because some days you just feel like a badass and pink just won't do. Check out what I came up with.

The black is Commando from Polish My Life, this creme covers perfectly in 2 coats. Nice and glossy and dark.

The gold flake top coat is OPI Pure 18kt gold from the Mariah Carey collection. This one not only has gold flakes but also silver flakes! The effect is subtle but I think the mix of the white and gold metal is great, it's not super yellow like other flake top coats.

Check out my boss ring! Haha! I got it from ebay for $1. It's definitely cheap feeling but it's so fun I don't care.

How about you? What color do you wear when you want to feel like a badass?

Polish My Life Un-Teal Next Year and Love Angeline Wrap Me Up glitter gradient

Hey Everyone!

It's getting closer to Christmas and that means Holiday manis! I recently purchased the Polish My Life Holiday collection which consisted of 3 PML polishes and one glitter bomb from Love Angeline. Had to use the teal and glitter first!

This teal is perfect, my kind of teal! Un-Teal Next Year is a slightly leaning green teal from Polish My Life, great formula, this is 2 coats.

And the glitter! This is Wrap Me Up from Love Angeline. I love how it has a Holiday vibe but isn't in your face all hey I'm Christmas glitter!!! Lol

So happy with how this one came out, thanks for stopping by!

Love Angeline Jasmine Tea and Polish My Life Eye Sea

Hey Everyone!

Today I have some really pretty polishes from a couple brands I recently discovered, Love Angeline and Polish My Life. Let’s get to it.

I used Stripped, a white crème, from Polish My Life as my base for all nails. On the ring and pinky I added 2 coats of Love Angeline Jasmine Tea, a white crelly full of lavender, salmon, blue, and aqua glitters. How cute is this one?

For the gradient on the pointer and middle fingers I sponged Eye Sea from Polish My Life, a bright blue crème. Great formula!

I added some purple 2mm nail jewels and I don’t know if they add to the design, I kinda think I should have left them off.

I’ve only attempted gradient nails a couple times and I have a lot to learn, like when to STOP haha. It will look nice with a few imperfections and then you try to make em better and just mess them up! Story of my life, thanks for stopping by!

Polish My Life - It's a Little Nippy andPom Pom Spice rose stamping

It's Monday again arrggghhhhh! *shakes fist at Monday*

Let's distract ourselves with gorgeous polishes, shall we?

This perfect nude is It's a Little Nippy from Polish My Life. This is 2 perfect coats. I seriously love this one, such a great neutral.

The cranberry red is Pom Pom Spice, also from Polish My Life. I used it for stamping and it worked great!

For the Rose stamping I used Bundle Monster plate BM-H16, and for the script stamping MoYou London Pro Collection 04 plate.

This mani was inspired by my outfit, a leather jacket from Marciano and a cranberry sweater dress from BCBGMAXAZRIA. Thanks for stopping by!

Polish My Life - Peaches Anyone with a glitter gradient

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy Friday! Yes that's how I'm greeting you today, by screaming at you.

I filed my nails yesterday because they were getting soooo long, well long for me. When my nails get a little longer I find myself playing with them which is never good because that will lead to breaks. Hell hath no fury like a nail swatcher that breaks a nail right before they have a swatch job coming up! I’m getting anxiety lol Whenever I file them shorter I always want to wear a bright neutral, short nails + bright creme = happiness. I had the perfect polish waiting in the wings, check it out.

This is Peaches Anyone? from Polish My Life. It’s perfect, I think it’s flattering with my skin tone but this color would flatter every skin tone. Nice formula, I am starting to love this indie brand and I want ALL the colors! This could be trouble, but the good kind of trouble.

The glitter is OPI In True Stefani Fashion, one of my favs. It’s full of small silver and holo glitter, and square holo glitter pieces. It worked perfectly for using as a glitter gradient. Some glitters are too goopy for this and you end up building it up too thick to get a nice gradient. There’s only one thing in this world that can never be too thick………………..bacon. Get your mind out of the gutter girl! :P Just kidding, I permanently reside in the gutter, welcome!

I added a couple rainbow 2 mm jewels, I got them from ebay (pretty much any jewel or stud I use is from ebay lol)

I can’t stop staring at my mani. I love a good peach polish, it looks so fresh and so clean clean! I recommend checking out Polish My Life, such gorgeous colors, thanks for stopping by :)

Polish My Life - Raspberry Roses

Happy Halloween!

Well, I find it funny that I’ve been doing Halloween manis since September and today THE actual day I’m not wearing one! Haha! Well, this mani is kinda Halloween themed, it matches my costume. Ok, it’s not a real costume just a silly skull headband. I call it my Witch Doctor headband, it has a giant sparkly skull and feathers sticking off of it. So on that note, check out my mani!

Whoah. Purple. Yaaaaaaaassssssssss! This is my first polish from Polish My Life (note: the website is currently closed until 11/3/14, she is on vacation). This gorgeous dusty purple is called Raspberry Roses. The formula is so crazy good, so smooth and opaque and just applies like a dream. This is 2 coats. She definitely has a new fan here!

Here is another pic of this baby because you need to look at it and buy it already. Purple is my fav color and crème polish is also my fav, so this one is making me very, very happy.

For the accent nail I chose Julep Sadie, they call this a “sea salt” texture finish. It’s like OPI liquid sand. I really like Sadie, it’s a basic black but with very fine silver shimmer. Great formula, this is 2 coats.

I also bought 2 other colors from Polish My Life so I will be posting manis with them very soon, I bought Peaches anyone? and Mauve Roses. Thanks for stopping by!
