Rose water decals Wedding mani featuring James Allen Rings nail charm

Press Sample

Hey Everyone!

You know what it's time for right?  Weddings and that means wedding manis!  I'm a "member" of the Preen.Me VIP Program and I had the chance to collaborate with Preen.Me and James Allen Rings to create wedding inspired manis using their replica engagement ring nail charms.  I kinda have a thing for miniatures so I'm totally in love with these little charms!  Ready for some pic spam?!  Ok I warned you.

See, I told you pic spam! Aren't they the cutest lil things ever?  I received 2 nail charms, both made of 14k white and gold and real diamond.  My nails have never been fancier lol  Now I do admit they are a little larger than I prefer for my small nail beds but they are so cute that I got over it lol

Born Pretty Store Review - Eifel Tower Nail Charm Item #16963

Hey Everyone!

Today I have a really cute Eifel Tower nail charm Item #16963 (color SH552) to review from Born Pretty Store! In case you haven’t noticed, I love nail charms hahaha It’s a little bigger and my nails are a little shorter at the moment so I place it on my thumb nail, check out my mani!

The Eifel Tower Nail Charm is all blinged out and fancy, it is so cute!  I just adore it.  It is slightly curved so it has more surface area to stick to your nail.  Since I have a pretty strong C-curve to my nails I always appreciate charms that aren’t flat as they stick better.  I just slapped this one on after a nice coat of top coat and so far it’s staying on perfectly!

Vampy nails! Using Polish My Life Pom Pom Life and Love Angeline Twinkle in My Eye

What's happening?!

It's still Winter and I've been doing bright manis so I went with something "season appropriate" whatever that means. *eye roll*  Polish My Life Pom Pom Spice, a deep vampy burgundy creme seemed perfect and here it is!

Pom Pom Spice is one of those vampy colors that's not quite red or brown it just is.  First coat was kind of crappy but the second coat went on great and covered to full opacity.

Color Club East Austin Bright Coral and Gold mani!

Hello!

Winter is really kicking my butt, it just won’t go away.  I know I sound like a broken record but I have another bright mani for my Winter blues lol Color Club East Austin is like Boom, Pow I’m bright in yo face!  Haha Check it out.

You may not have believed me when I said Color Club East Austin was bright lol  I have read it is a close dupe to China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy but I don’t have that one so I can’t say.  It’s a bright glowing coral peach.  Is it neon?  I think it’s one lightbulb away from being a neon haha!  To me, neon has that vibrating feel to it this glows but does not “vibrate” my eyeballs, does that even make sense?  I used 3 coats here because it can be a bit sheer if you use thinner coats.

Born Pretty Store Review Rose Nail Charms with Loreal Masked Affair

Hi Everyone!

After seeing all the hub-bub about Loreal Masked Affair and it being sold out everywhere, I was like well, I’m not getting it lol I thought it was pretty but I have similar colors. Then on Friday I walked into Rite-aid to get some shampoo and walked down an aisle and there was the display with 1 Masked Affair! So, I guess it was fate and I grabbed it just to have haha! I thought it was perfect to use for my review of some
rose nail charmsthat Born Pretty Store sent to me. Check out what I came up with.

The
Silver Rose Charms item #16684are so cute! They’re a good size for medium to small size nails since they aren’t huge like a lot of other charms I have. They also don’t have a very high profile so they are less likely to snag in your hair or on your clothing. They attached very easily just with topcoat.

So what do you think of Loreal Masked Affair? In the bottle it has an interesting bluish glow to it which does translate onto the nail a little. In person it does have a nice holo effect, not the strongest I’ve seen but for a mainstream brand I think it is excellent! I tend to prefer a subtler holo so I do like this one. I also recently bought Orly Mirrorball, that I used
HEREand I do prefer Mirrorball because it is slightly darker. But I will definitely get a lot of use out of Masked Affair.

The uber pale pink (yes it is pink and not white lol) is China Glaze Friends Forever, Right? I added some thinner to mine and with 3 thin coats it was opaque. I love colors like this so I don’t mind that I have to use 3 coats.

Along with the
Silver Rose Charms item #16684I added some AB jewel studs that I got from ebay.

I’m really digging the silver Rose Nail Charms and I need to see if they have them in gold! They’re the perfect size and I will get a lot of use from them. Have you picked up Loreal Masked Affair? Do you plan on it?

(Some of these products were sent to me for review)

OPI - My Vampire is Buff and LAMB chevron decals Vinyl It Up mani

Hey my Friends!

It probably seems like I post a lot of bright manis but when it comes down to it, I love neutrals. Nothing makes me happier than a creamy neutral, le sigh. So for today I'm using one of my all time fav neutrals and golds. Shall we proceed?

OPI My Vampire is Buff. Look at it! I've worn this color countless times but each time I fall more in love with it. It's like the color of fresh almonds. This is 2 coats.

What about the tree nail charm? Too cute, it's from ebay.

The gold is OPI LAMB, it's like an ultra fine dense glitter. It does dry to a satin finish which looks great but I chose to add top coat here.

The nail vinyls I used are from Vinyl It Up, mini chevrons, my fave size! So perfect for my small nail beds, I get maximum zigs and zags lol

This could be one of my fave manis in a long time, thanks for reading!

Julep Monaco and Sienna with Essie On A Silver Platter - New Years Mani

Happy New Years Eve Everyone!!!

I'm just staying at home tonight, no need to go anywhere when I have plenty of champagne here lol But I still painted myself a NYE mani, check it out!

This gorgeous creamy blue is Julep Monaco, it's got a little bit of a dusty tone to it. I used 2 coats.

The golden and blue shimmer is Essie On a Silver Platter. I layered 2 coats over Julep Sienna which is a metallic gold.

Isn't this little clock charm so cute? I got it on eBay.

Well I'm off to pour some champagne, Happy New Years Everyone!!!

OPI Over and Over A-Gwen China Glaze Fairy Dust and White on White Santa Christmas mani

Heyyyyyyy!

We're getting super close to Christmas, and what kind of person would I be if I didn't do a Santa mani? A terrible person is the answer. So, here's my Santa mani!

For the base I used OPI Over and Over A-Gwen, a classic red creme. Perfect for Christmas manis!

On the ring and pinky I added 1 coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust, because why not?!

This Santa charm kills me! He's just so cute! It's a little large for my small nails but I like how the hat hangs off the top of the nail.

The white is China Glaze White on White, I'm pretty terrible with freehand lines so I was pumped I was able to draw some straight lines to make boss lol I added a couple of little jewels to the center of the bows.

Thanks for stopping by!

Gridlock Lacquer Queen City Christmas

Yaaayyyy It’s Fryyyyydayyyyyyy!

After today, I’m on vacation until Jan 5th. Yes. I’ve been looking forward to doing lots of swatching and I will be netflixing it up on my ipad lol We’re getting close to Christmas so I’m going to be hitting these Holiday manis hard, prepare yourselves. And go!

How vintage-y is this glitter polish from Gridlock Lacquer? This is Queen City Christmas, I used 2 coats. It has a sort of sheer shimmer green base and is full of gold and gold holo small glitter. It reminds me of Christmas ornaments from when I was a kid, they were always covered in green and gold glitter haha. Love this one, probably my fav Christmas glitter.

For the other nails I used Julep Diana, a very dark but warm green crème. It’s almost a little crelly like but with 2 coats it covers nail line. This is one of my oldest Julep colors, I was happy to bust it out since I haven’t used it in a long time.

To continue the vintage vibe I chose a wreath nail charm but I don’t really know if the bow part is supposed to be at the top or bottom? But I guess it doesn’t matter since you look at it from both angles anyways lol

Super happy with this mani, thanks for stopping by and if I don’t see you (wink wink) Happy Holidays!
