Wet N Wild California Dreaming Spring / Summer 2015 Collection swatches!

(These polishes were purchased by me)

Hey Everyone!

I'm super excited to share this collection with you!  Today I'm sharing the Wet N Wild California Dreaming Collection.  Ever since I reviewed the Wet N Wild Silver Lake Collection, I just can't get enough of the MegaLast line!  I adore their formula and colors and most especially their price, they range from $1.99 - $2.99 and you can often get them on sale.  My only dislike is the extra large brush, but not that big of a deal.  For all of my swatches I also used the new top coat from Wet N wild, Clear The Air.  I believe this top coat is supposed to be like the gel hybrids top coats out there.  It dries very fast but sort of leaves micro-cracks in the surface of the polish.  I'll point it out in the photos below.  Ok, let's get onto swatches!

First up is 'Bee-U-Tiful,' a creamy butter yellow.  This had a nice formula, maybe just a touch sheer in some spots in person but you really had to look for the spots.  This is a unique color in my collection!  It's not your typical yellow, it has a little dinge or dirt to it.  Love this one!  I added some chevron stripes with mini chevron vinyls from Vinyl It Up, the blue is from this collection 'Sky Me Mine' and I added a couple of blue 2mm square studs.

Next up is 'Sun Settle Down,' a dusty mango crème.  This ended up being one of my favs from the collection!  It has a great formula and covered perfectly in 2 coats.  You can check out my Cinco de Mayo mani HERE where I list everything used and even have a little instagram tutorial for this look!  You can see in the first pic of this color the cracks with the Wet N Wild top coat I was talking about.  I don't know how to explain them, just like swirly lines?  I dunno, at least the top coat dries fast lol

Next is 'Re: In Carnation,' a beautiful bubblegum pink.  I wasn't that excited about this color, I mean it looked nice but didn't grab me.  But then I put it on and fell in love!  Way prettier on, love when that happens AND it has a really nice formula.  Shown here using 2 coats.  For the glitter gradient I used Sinful Colors Full Spectrum.

Next onto the "cooler" colors of the collection!  This sky blue is 'Sky Me Mine.'  It has a very nice formula, shown here with 2 coats.  Nothing unique but still really pretty and made me happy to wear!  For the stamping I used Bundle Monster Black Noir and stamp plate HeHe 024.  This stamp pattern has my heart, ahhhhh I love it so much!

Onto the final color!  This pretty green is 'Green Tease.'  I've really been feeling greens lately, so this is a win for me!  Shown here using 2 coats, it was just a little sheer in spots but very hard to see in person.  You may think this looks close to the Silver Lake green polish 'Tree Hugger' and you're right!  'Green Tease' is a little lighter than 'Tree Hugger' and is more yellow while TH has a bit of a blue tone.  For the nail art, I used China Glaze Fairy Dust on the ring, a few purple jewels from ebay, and feather water decals item #5311 from Born Pretty Store.

Overall, I am in love with this collection!  They're cremes so obviously I'm bound to love them lol but I like that these kinda have a little dusty/dirty tone to them, a little different than your average bright crème.  I hope you liked my swatches, and thanks for stopping by!
