Bundle Monster Downtown Collection polish swatches

Hey Everyone!

Today I have the
Downtown Collection $13.50(that’s right $13.50 for 6 polishes! Or $3.50 each) from
Bundle Monsterto share! I have some Bundle Monster stamping plates but I’ve never tried their polishes, actually I didn’t even know they have polish lol So I was pumped when they sent me an entire collection to review. They picked a collection that is right up my alley because it’s mostly cremes and the colors are some of my faves. Let’s check out the Downtown Collection!

Bundle Monster Downtown Collection

Normally I wouldn’t show a pic of a simple cardboard box but I liked that the collection came in a nice sturdy container and inside it had a foam insert with circular cut-outs to hold the polishes. It made the polishes seem very protected which is nice for shipping purposes.

Here are the colors from the top left, Oxford, Crowley, Redhill, Bristol, Eaton, and Harlow. The bottles remind of Nails Inc but are taller. I liked the brushes, not too wide or thin and are nice quality. Let’s move on to swatches!

First up is Harlow, a bright navy crème. This is a gorgeous color and applied very nicely, I used 2 coats for my swatches and found it to be self-leveling. Like most dark blues this can look much darker depending on lighting. The white is China Glaze White on White, I used a dotting tool for the polka-dots and the bow charm is from ebay.

Next is Bristol, a brick red crème that has a definite raspberry tone to it. I always like reds so this is a win for me, I used 2 coats and application was smooth and self-leveling. Many reds tend to want to flood the cuticle area but I didn’t notice that with Bristol. The pink is Azature Light Pink Diamond and I used an arrow nail vinyl stencil from
Vinyl It Upand heart jewels from ebay.

Who doesn’t love teal polish? This is Eaton, a teal crème that leans green. It dried darker than in the bottle, I used 2 coats here and application was even and almost a 1 coater! The gold is OPI LAMB with mini wave vinyls from
Vinyl It Upand the heart decal is from ebay.

Bundle Monster Redhill polish

Next is Redhill, now I could have sworn this was a deep purple shimmer because in the bottle it looks purple to me lol BUT on the nail it’s definitely a vampy shimmery garnet. Also the name is Redhill sooooo duh don’t know how I messed that up haha. This polish is both great and bad, I hate when that happens! The good, it applies so wonderfully and is a true 1 coater! The bad? This stains like a mofo, like really bad one of the worst I’ve ever seen and I even used a peel off base-coat! Usually I experience staining when using a remover but even with peeling this polish off it managed to stain my nails. Le sigh. What a shame because as you can see the color is lovely and it glows in the right light, so sadly I do not recommend this one unless you are totally ok with staining. The jewels are from ebay.

This purple lovely is Crowley, a deep plum crème. Wonderful application, 2 coats used here and no complaints. The purple glitter is Lavish Lavender from LA Splash and the jewels are from ebay.

The last color is Oxford, a khaki brown with a hint of green. I love this one! It’s unique and has a very military feel to it. I used 2 coats here, although it is opaque application wasn’t as nice as the others but really nothing terrible I just had to make sure I wasn’t leaving any sheer areas. If you like weird colors like me then I definitely recommend this one! For the camo accents I used Julep Fiore a cool deep brown, Julep Roc Solid a cool jungle green, and China Glaze Five Rules.

Downtown Collection
Overall I really like the
from
Bundle Monsterand I’m very impressed with their formulas with the exception of Redhill being a reall stain-in-the-ass haha! You can grab the whole collection for only $13.50! That is a rea bargain considering how nice these are. I will definitely be keeping an eye out on their polishes from now on, I think they’re an undiscovered line of polishes. Thanks for checking out my review!
