A couple months ago I picked up Nails Inc Queen Victoria Street on clearance for $5 at Sephora! In the store it was more of a jade green, which of course had me super pumped. Pumped as I was, I had no idea what to pair it with so I looked to a mani I did not too long ago using Julep Max and Serum No. 5 Flashing Lights for inspiration. Somehow this reminds me of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.....not sure why but the chain link fence like stamping I tried just gives me a turtley vibe :)
As you can see Queen Victoria is definitely green green lol It's a gorgeous creme but I thought it was going to have more blue to it. Oh well! Formula was outstanding, this is 2 coats.
I stamped using MoYou London Pro Collection Plate 02. I used Sinful Colors black. This is my non-dominant hand and the stamping is meh and kinda fuzzy but I somehow managed to do the stamping on my dominant hand way better! That hand doesn't photograph as well, so your stuck with the crappy stamps lol
1 coat of Julep Max over ring. Max is full of black and white glitter in a clear base but somehow it kinda turned a little green while drying. I'm thinking the top coat picked up some of the green and it tinted the whole nail. Kind of annoying since I was so pleased with Max over Monaco the last time I used it.
Serum No. 5 Flashing Lights on pinky, I believe I used 3 coats for full opacity.
I didn't think this mani was much of a win for me. It's aight but not my fav. Does this mani give you a Ninja Turtle vibe?
